IN 2012 an adorable, energetic, little Cock-a-Poo puppy joined my family. Unlike my previous dogs, I found her to be a bit of a handful. So, I employed the expertise of Joanne George. Joanne's knowledge & calm, patient approach proved invaluable. I was so pleased with our progress, that I referred Joanne to not one, but two neighbours that summer. I highly recommend Joanne for dog training and her dog walking services.

I am happy to recommend Joanne George to you. Joanne visited in our home on several occasions and was able to assist with some persistent behaviours we were having trouble with. She offered solutions that were easy to learn (for us and our dog) and kindly taught. She has helped with behaviour modification in the car which has proven to be very helpful. She is a warm individual who our dog was always happy to see, and appreciate her friendly teaching style.

"I could not have asked for a better experience in dog training for myself and our dog, Leo. Joanne’s personalized training in our home was exactly what we needed to deal with unwanted behaviours in the setting in which they occurred. Joanne’s genuine love of dogs, ease with people, and extensive education and experience in dog training make her the perfect trainer. I was amazed at how she could immediately get my puppy to listen and follow her commands! She has an excellent approach in teaching dog owners how to get the same results, and is a wonderful example of how strong the bond between dogs and people can be. I always appreciated Joanne’s availability by phone or email after training for added support if any questions or difficulties arose. I will continue to use Joanne for ongoing training as the need arises and for her other services, such as dog walking. If you are considering training, look no further than Joanne. You and your dog will be much happier for it!"
It gives me great pleasure to write this testimonial. As a first time dog owner, I had no idea that dogs and their owners both needed training. My Bichon Poo, "Nicky" was a very high energy puppy who was very easily distracted, was eating my furniture, and doing his business in the house. That is until I was referred to Joanne George. She came into my house and immediately I could see a change in Nicky. He was listening to her and obeying. This was something that I was unable to obtain on my own or with the puppy classes that Nicky had attended earlier at Petsmart. After a few sessions with Joanne, I was able to get Nicky to pay attention to me and he soon learned not to eat my furniture or do his business in the house. After our initial training session with Joanne, I asked her to take Nicky a couple days per week so he could be with her young son and her 3 dogs and I learned how important it was for Nicky to socialize with other people and other dogs. Now, because I work, Nicky is in doggy-daycare and I always hear from the staff how well behaved and sociable he is and it makes me so happy that Joanne was responsible for that. Thank you Joanne.
